Mini UPS Circuit

UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), is used to anticipate the power goes out. Although not reliable as a genuine UPS, this series of little meaning, merakitnnya Want to know how ...? Simple and easy.

The cost is relatively cheaper than buying the original UPS. What about the necessary components? Many were sold at electronics stores. Thus you will lose money if it does not try to assemble.

UPS output circuit has a power of about 1.5 W. Before the main series are like a mini-series adapters that have a strong tension between 9V/12V with a current of 500mA. The resulting voltage is used to operate the circuit and battery charge. UPS is designed to keep electronic devices running even if the power goes out.

How it Works The circuit When the inverter is run with the AC input, and then converted into DC voltage. At the output rectifier is used to fill the battery. When a power failure or outage of electric current, flowing into the inverter dc voltage which then generates an AC voltage at the output of the inverter (more details see figure). around CD4047 IC circuit is connected as a multivibrator operating at a frequency of 50 Hz. Q output of this multivibrator drive MOSFETs IRF540. Outout inverter is filtered and reduced use MOV (Metal Oxide Vasitor). Transformer used is 9-0-9, 1.5A. Two LEDs (D6 and D7) are used as an indicator of whether the mains voltage or baattery at work.
